These are a few tunes I have recorded with the Riverside Guitar
Quartet. In this group I play music arranged for the classical guitar,
from the Renaissance to the Present day. We perform at just about
any kind of event. Our more recent performances were at the
Cummer Gallery of Art and Gardens, European Street Station, and at
the Riverside Arts Festival.
This first tune is Domenico
Scarlatti's "Sonata in C".
A masterful
Baroque keyboard piece
arranged for guitar quartet.
The next tune is called
"Bailando". It is by the
Spanish composer Federico
Moreno Torroba. He is highly regarded in classical
guitar circles because he was the first contemporary
composer to write music specifically for the guitar
at the request of the legendary Andres Segovia.
